Norton Identity Safe version 1.0 Free Download
Keep all of your passwords and important information with this must have multiplatform toolKeeping your passwords safe now-a-days is difficult to do. So many different sites require so many different passwords. They're hard to keep up with some times. That's why I like applications like Norton Identity Safe. It’s a privacy tool for Windows. With Norton Identity Safe, you'll never forget a username or password. With it, you can forget what it's like to go through tedious password resets and stop filling in the same online forms over and over again. Norton Identity Safe can auto-fill your addresses, credit cards, frequent flyer numbers and much more.Norton Identity Safe can do more than just remember passwords and fill in online forms. With it, you can securely save notes and quickly find them when you need them. You can share interesting information directly from NIS. It will also eval the site you're currently visiting and tell you whether its trusted or not, before it loads. You also won't have to worry about using Norton Identity Safe with just one browser. It supports all the majors, including IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. If you have the software and want to use it on your mobile device, Identity Safe has your back there, too. There are clients for both iOS and Android, so you're protected on the go.Pro’s: Eval's bad sites and informs you of trusted status before the site loads, supports multiple browsers in a single installCon’s: Post 01-Oct-12, software will no longer be free (pricing TBD), Mac client does NOT support Lion (it won't download)Conclusion: Norton Identity Safe is the no-brainer of the season. If you have a computer and surf the web, then this software is for you. It's free, supports just about any browser you could want to use, supports Windows and Mac as well as iOS and Android. A word of caution, to Mac users, however – I couldn't get the software to download on my Early 2011 MacBook Pro running Lion 10.7.4. If you're looking to install and run the software there, you must look directly to Soft32's download page, as the Norton website doesn't recognize Lion 10.7.4 as a valid Mac OS.
